"Last weekend, for the first time, our Government trialled an application to get the entire cabinet bag, which is the holy grail of the Westminster government system of cabinet, onto minister's iPads," Premier Anna Bligh told a business lunch yesterday.
Ms Bligh said the state was the first in Australia to downsize the bulky folders, which was handy for travelling MPs.
"I expect to see it not only go to other governments around Australia but I think we could expect to see international interest in it," she said.

The software contains multiple security measures to stop sensitive material falling into the wrong hands, she said.
Ms Bligh also announced the establishment of a Queensland Government chief information officer to drive policy development and project management.
The new chief-executive-level position would be sought in national advertising this weekend and would ensure Queensland was grasping opportunities like those the National Broadband Network would present.
