Nyangweso delighted with victory
Ulinzi Stars coach Benjamin Nyangweso was a delighted man after his side edged out Mathare United by a solitary goal on Thursday.
The win saw the champions move to second on the log with 38 points and more importantly reduced the gap on leaders Tusker to three points.
“I feel great because of tonight’s result. We had drawn our last two matches and so to get a win makes me.”

“My prayer and hope is that I can continue climbing up the table. Am now upto second and I can get another three points in my next match, that will help keep the pressure on Tusker.”
It was Mathare United’s first loss since May 6 and Coach Salim Ali blamed it on poor officiating.
